Process is a debut novel from author Matthew Seiji Burns set in the dark heart of Seattle’s tech startup world. The protagonist is a young man driven by an almost animalistic need to find outsized success by creating the next unicorn tech juggernaut.
His days are riddled with surreal meetings and encounters with strange characters, anxiety and self-torture until finally, after years of trying, his goal is within his grasp, but his achievement may come at enormous personal cost and possibly impacting on humanity itself.
The book’s provocative graphical approach and labyrinthine type-setting underscores the main character's tenuous grip on reality. These elements, combined with the unorthodox and adventurous packaging we've come to expect from this publisher (Tune & Fairweather), create a literary journey like no other.
Packed with visual delights on every page, we think Process is one of the most extraordinary publications we've seen at Magalleria.
