Sixteen Journal is a fairly new biannual print magazine and digital platform for creative photography.
The magazine delivers a satisfying blend of fine art, social, cultural and fashion photography from both well known and emerging practitioners. We're astounded by the quality of magazines in this category coming out of France right now, and this is another.
Volume 12 is entirely dedicated to cinema. The contributing artists are Wim Wenders, Gus Van Sant, Spike Lee, Larry Clark, William Klein, Georges Lucas, Jim Jarmusch, Alfred Hitchcock, Jack Davison, Michael Bailey-Gates, Felix Cooper, Dennis Stock, Philippe Halsman, Emily Lipson, Sonia Szóstak, Sam Nixon, Joe Lai, Bharat Sikka, Cécile Smetana, Mark Mahaney, Bob Kiss, Greg Girard, David Lee, Masayoshi Sukita, Shawn Lakin, Victoire Simonney and Ron Hartleben.
NOTE: for back issues the cover displayed may not be the one you receive when you order. We generally use a single image for every issue, so if you don’t see the cover you want, leave a buyer's note when you order or email hello@magalleria.co.uk and if we’ve got it, we’ll send it.
