Ghislain Pascal, Editor and Curator of BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! is touring the UK to promote the publication of the BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! book and magazine. He's appearing at Magalleria on October 3rd and we'd love to see you here.
Ghislain is a former celebrity agent and publicist, and the co-founder (with Tamara Beckwith Veroni) of one of London's leading photography spaces, The Little Black Gallery. The evening will provide a rare opportunity to hear and meet with a leading expert and innovator in contemporary queer and gay photography.
Ghislain believes BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! is the world’s first fine art photography magazine wholly dedicated to the subject. We can testify here at Magalleria that it’s definitely becoming difficult to generate any mainstream media for queer and gay photography, both in this country and worldwide, and even on social media where the BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! Instagram page itself was recently removed by Instagram (you’ll now find it at @boysfineart).
The BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! programme is managed by The Little Black Gallery which now represents more than 65 photographers from 30 countries, including those where gay rights are repressed and queer lives under constant threat. Every photographer represented by the agency is included in the BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! books and every photographer has the opportunity to see their work in the magazines. A percentage from the sale of every magazine is donated to charities supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
