Turps Banana is an bi-annual magazine about painting put together by a small group of painters in London who now run their own art school.

The popularity of Turps Banana with local customers has been a revelation to us, and a description of the TB ethos in The Guardian chimes with how many of us see the battle for print: 'It [the Turps Banana art school] seems to prove that, as conceptual art becomes the academic orthodoxy of the 21st century, it is painting that is now the punk, dissident, rebellious avant-garde activity taught by mavericks in pop-up studios.'

International orders are welcome. Please email us before you order to help us arrange more cost-efficient shipping. If you order from inside the EU you may now be charged tax in your country. Our orders are supplied under Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU), meaning that you will be charged VAT at point of delivery by UPS or DHL rather than at checkout. It is not additional tax. We do not refund orders where delivery has been refused.

Delivery

We provide free UK delivery on orders over £100. We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 48 hours. If this is likely to take longer, we'll let you know. We send orders via Royal Mail, UPS and DHL only. If this presents any difficulties in your region, do let us know.

Sustainable packaging

We use sustainable materials offering the most effective protection for your magazine. All orders are packaged in heavy grade recycled paper Jiffy Green mailers sealed with Kraft paper tape. If further protection is required we use recyclable polypropylene display bags or Jiffy Ocean Green Brown mailers. Large orders are sent in heavy duty double wall cardboard cartons. Our in-store carrier bags are made of paper and biodegradable, compostable standard EN13432 plastic. Where practical we recycle any clean packing material.
