In 1995, when Akira Minagawa founded what would become minä perhonen, he aspired to create something that would endure. Now, tminä perhonen has grown to reach beyond the realm of fashion, enriching people’s lives and lifestyles. Known for its imaginative, colourful hand-drawn prints and artisanal detailing, the brand is especially noted for manufacturing its own fabrics and, in the process, supporting its partners in the textile industry.
