The Office is an intriguing and revealing new book in which renowned stylist Camille Bidault-Waddington uses her iPhone to document the process of fashion photography and describe the amount of work behind a finished image that many of us take for granted. The volume captures almost two hundred photographers at work between 2015 and 2025.
Bidault-Waddington’s images reveal a collaborative craft and offers a thoughtful exploration of authorship, gesture and largely unseen graft that defines and underpins fashion photography today.
Photographers seen in the book are Adam Peter, Alex Leese, Alice Neel, Anatheine, Angelo Penneta, Bryan Liston, Camille Vivier, Casper Sejersen, Cass Bird, Charlotte Wales, Chaumont-Zaerpour, Coco Capitan, Collier Schoor, Craig Mcdean, Dale Cutts, Dan Martensen, Ezra Petronio, Guen Fiore, Hanna Moon, Harley Weir, Heji Shin, Hiromix, Inez & Vinoodh, Indigo Lewin, Jessica Madavo, Joe Lai, Joshua Woods, Julia Hetta, Krisztián Éder, Larissa Hofmann, Laura Jane Colson, Lena C.
