The New Standard is a new magazine from renowned design studios Made Thought, Map Project Office and Universal Design Studio. It features a selection of work from the three studios alongside inspiring brands and game-changing personalities whose values and vision for the future chime with theirs, and who believe in the power of creativity to disrupt the status quo.
The first issue focuses on collaboration and looks at the trio’s own shared project work with brands such as IBM, Google, Paul Smith and Rimowa, alongside how they have used creativity to introduce new ideas to the world, from new dating app Feeld to an AI-driven first aid kit for the future. Other features include a focus on next-gen materials and what creatives need to do to make them mainstream. There's an interview with the founder of Horst who is using the arts and architecture to rethink the local impact of music festivals, and the CEO of Natoora discussing a global network of chefs, growers and suppliers helping to bring radical seasonality to the world.
