The Home is a new release from the fabulous B Media, publishers of Magazine B. It’s a book that puts people in places,or more specifically in their homes, based on the idea that personal or individual space is where ‘our lives leave behind myriad stories.’
So The Home is much more about attitudes towards living space than style or design. The editorial team behind Magazine B interview other creative types – brand founders, collaborators, film makers – in their own, personal habitats around the world to throw light on the meaning and purpose of ‘home’. Conceptually fresh, the book examines the personal zone in themes around 'sanctuary', 'gathering place', 'atmosphere' and the like. Admittedly the vibe is not unlike Apartamento (whose co-founders are interviewed here) and it shares some of the more authentic casual or cluttered spaces seen in that magazine, The Home is built with all the detail and panache of Magazine B.
