We all loved the Sabat trilogy. It's so popular that its creator, Elisabeth Krohn, has to keep reprinting all the issues to meet demand. So we're thrilled there's another series from the same publishing house (Dreadful Press), and it's called Suspira.
This time we're dealing with all things related to 'horror'. Although it has a new editor and creative director (Valentina Egoavil Medina) Suspira is, like its forebear, largely monochromatic in design, forensic about the details and intent on sweeping away lazy or stereotypical thinking around the genre. Like Sabat it too frames its subject matter within more contemporary feminist thinking.
These are interesting times for a project like this, and we know a lot of people will want to explore Suspira.
