Marvin is a music magazine is bought to you by Marvin Scott Jarrett who, along with the designer David Carson, produced arguably the last great music magazine, the legendary and super-radical Ray Gun in the early 1990s. If that wasn't enough, he launched the influential Nylon magazine at the end of that decade.
So, of course, Marvin is another marvel. Measuring 33.5 × 23.5 cm and unbound, it certainly is a large magazine and it feels pleasingly big, bold and thrilling – 'a punk rock messianic view of the future', according to the publisher. And we couldn't agree more.
