M—A (A SPACE BETWEEN) is a new publication from a Bath-based multidisciplinary design partnership between UK designer Joe Richard and French designer Manon Duhamel.
This magazine is a gorgeous and imposing concoction of (mostly) black and white art photography flowing through each volume in a sequence of thoughtful and imaginative stagings and juxtapositions. The spreads are breathtaking and seem to gain extra assistance from the flatness afforded by the magazine's spiral binding. Contributors are drawn from a pool of emerging and established abd very well-known creatives, but the seamlessness of it all is remarkable.
Conributors to Issue 2 (Flow State) are Claudia Andujar, Daniel Obasi, Felipe Romero Beltrán, Hejing Fang, Jiani Yang, Kazundo Horiuchi, Larry Fink, Lee Miller, Michael Ullrich, Neil Drabble, Ofir Berman, Roland Penrose, Sophie Overment and Tirtha Lawati.
M—A (A SPACE BETWEEN) is produced in a limited numbered print run of 200 copies so don't wait around if you want to snap one of the more original, unusual and very beautiful releases of the last couple of years.
