Identities Beyond Borders is a publishing project and travelling exhibition that aims at sustaining and promoting Italian contemporary art as a tool for dialogue and openness to the world.
The focus of this book derives from works found in the Farnesina Collection, which since its establishment in the 1990s has become one of the most significant public collections in Italy. Through selected works and writings it addresses themes such as identity, memory, and social and cultural tensions, fostering encounter between different generations of artists.
Not limited to exhibiting works of great aesthetic value, it intends to offer ideas for critical thought and reflection capable of involving different audiences.
