Folds is a new book that examines a feature omnipresent in fashion and on our bodies as a basic technique of DIY culture and many other areas.
It illuminates the complexity of the humble fold from the perspective of design, culture, art and ideas history as well as cultural anthropology. Using selected objects from Eastern and Western culture that display enormous diversity in terms of time, space and material, the book invites us on a tour providing intellectual and creative insights into this everyday phenomena.
