Display Copy is a new fashion magazine that really doesn’t have truck with fast fashion. In fact it doesn’t feature any new fashion at all. It’s completely focused on vintage fashion.
It’s on a mission to make second-hand fashion a top tier phenomenon by utilising the fashion industry’s leading photographers, stylists and models to shoot, style and wear the finest upcycled or vintage clothing in its editorials and celebrate the longevity and environmental impact of these garments.
We're chucking out our clothes at a rate like never before – we wear an item of clothing an average of only seven times – so it's hardly surprising we're seeing more and more magazines from fashion industry people who see themselves as part of the problem. Display Copy is an interesting and high profile entrant into this area – it's not cheap to buy but you can feel the quality – and joins some already esteemed fellow travellers on our shelves.
