Disco Pogo is a new bi-annual electronic music magazine from Paul Benney and John Burgess, founders of seminal 90s title Jockey Slut.
The magazine’s launch in 2022 followed the success of 2020’s 'A Jockey Slut Tribute to Andrew Weatherall' and a successful crowdfunding campaign in 2021. Disco Pogo is a heavyweight, 236-page magazine bridging the gap between the new generation of dance music and the best electronic artists from the past 30 years and beyond.
Jockey Slut (1993 – 2004) was the first magazine to feature crossover, left field electronic acts such as Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers as well as documenting the Detroit techno and Chicago house scenes, gaining exclusive access to the likes of Underground Resistance, Carl Craig and Green Velvet.
