Cuisine Mondiale is a cookbook featuring 30 artists from 23 countries, providing a culinary tour through the world’s artistic kitchens.
Art and cooking have much in common. The two are linked by a delight in creativity, in experimental processes, and in being together with others. When creating art or trying out a new dish, the original idea can change considerably as the work progresses. Our senses are engaged by the seemingly endless array of ingredients and possible combinations. Igshaan Adams, Leonardo Bürgi, Sasha Filipenko, Sandra Knecht, Victoria Lomasko and others present both their art and their favourite recipes through which personal memories, senses and experiences are reflected.
