Looking at first glance like a mash-up between Martin Parr, Buffalo Zine and perhaps even Toilet Paper, newcomer Bellissimo is something (almost) entirely else.
Conceived as an annual project by London-based photographers Paolo Zerbini and Ivan Ruberto, Bellissimo aims to examine specific, lesser known communities and locations with a cheap looking, amateur documentary approach. Guest art directed by Li von Eular, it's obviously all heavily stylised but if the kitsch is knowing, it's not nasty or patronising. It's intelligent and funny go with it you'll also find it informative and weirdly beautiful.
