A difficult magazine to categorise but very interestingly conceived and executed, Revue: Conversations and esthetiques is one of our favourites.
As the tagline suggests, Revue is a culture magazine, and primarily French culture. Taking in art, architecture, fashion, literature, film, music and more, it could be easily placed in any of these categories and hold its own. Editorial is mainly in French text, with a section in English to the rear. Produced in sumptuous paper and card stock with contrasting edging and a selection of different cover images (often in different shapes) pasted on its cover, Revue is not something you'll miss it should even knock you over.
Revue Magazine is now combined with its offshoot Revue Beauté into a single, enlarged and breathtaking issue.
