Foam Magazine is arguably the premier overarching publication for the international photography community.
Originating from the Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam in, er, Amsterdam, Foam appears three times a year to showcase a broad range of image-making, including documentary, fashion, portrait and other genres in a mission to connect global artists, experts and enthusiasts alike.
Bound using specialist photographic art papers and with an exposed seam binding, Foam is not only award-winning in its field but a handsome object in its own right.
About Issue 67, from the publisher:
In celebration of Foam’s 25th anniversary, this landmark issue of Foam Magazine reflects on the museum’s legacy and the role of the photographic medium in society through the question: what makes an image stand the test of time? Featuring 92 contributors from across photography and beyond, the issue brings together portfolios, conversations, and personal reflections – from Tyler Mitchell to Marina Abramović, Sakir Khader, Lebohang Kganye, Oluremi C. Onabanjo, and Gem Fletcher, Deborah Willis.
This magazine offers a starting point for conversation and contemplation on the potential of images today, and a projection of those we wish to see tomorrow.
