As it says on its cover, UPPERCASE Magazine is aimed at the creative and curious'. It's one of the bestselling titles in our store and it's little wonder why.
Started in 2009, the magazine has no sponsors or large advertisers and is solely edited, designed and published by Janine Vangool. She says that the typical elements of the magazine are a playful exploration of creativity, an affinity for vintage ephemera, and a love of typography. This has seen the magazine uncover and explore a stack of hitherto unrecognized artistic expression in all sorts of places. And what especially appeals to us is a sense when you read UPPERCASE that there's no need or pressure to buy anything rather, rejoice in what there is or make it yourself.
Printed on high-quality matte paper stock UPPERCASE has won awards for its design excellence and production values and sells out in its native Canada. One of our favourites.
