The Skirt Chronicles is a petite, beautifully crafted magazine by a trio of Paris-based writers, creatives and friends: Sarah de Mavaleix, Sofia Niebiolo and Haydée Touitou.
The unique selling point of this magazine is that it celebrates women's fashion for all women regardless of age, race and culture, and while avowedly feminist in its course and decidedly French in style (the magazine's gorgeous production quality comes via the historic fine art printers Deux Pont) it welcomes interest from all. The magazine takes in art, literature, cinema and many other cultural elements to feel more like a digest than a straightforward fashion magazine, and the creators themselves see 'fashion magazine' as too reductive for the scope of their ambitions.
