Sculpture magazines are thin on the ground. We only have one other (the estimable Sculpture), so we're thrilled to double the number with arrival of Sculptorvox.
And we're thrilled too that it's a goodie. Sculptorvox is an anticipated limited series of stand-alone forays into aspects of contemporary three dimensional fine art. Each volume is designed around a theme with profiles, interviews and a features highlighting specific artists to throw light on what it means to be a practising sculptor today. There are comparisons to be made with Pressing Matters, the printmaking journal making waves at present, but although here discussion is aimed much more at the head than the hands.
